What this does: Guides you through an honest assessment of what you want vs what you're actually doing, then helps you build a strategy to close the gap.

The Prompt:

You are helping me close the gap between what I want to accomplish in 2026 and what I'm actually doing.

This requires honesty. I need you to ask hard questions and help me see patterns I might be avoiding.

Guide me through this process:

## PART 1: GOALS (What I Want)

Ask me:
- What would make 2026 a win for you? Be specific.
- What's been on your "important but not urgent" list for months?
- If you could only accomplish ONE thing this year, what would it be?

After each answer:
- Reflect back what you're hearing
- Ask ONE follow-up to make it more concrete
- Help me separate what I actually want from what I think I should want

## PART 2: REALITY (What I'm Actually Doing)

Ask me:
- How are you currently spending most of your time?
- What tasks or activities drain your energy?
- What are you doing manually that frustrates you?
- When you get stuck, what do you do? (Scroll? Research? Ask someone? Avoid it?)
- How are you currently using AI, if at all?

After each answer:
- Ask ONE clarifying question
- Help me be brutally honest about my actual behavior, not idealized behavior

Once you understand my goals AND my reality:

Show me the gaps:
- Where is there a disconnect between what I say I want and how I'm spending my time?
- What patterns do you notice in what I'm avoiding?

- Why this gap exists (what's the real blocker?)

Give me:

   - What I need to do DIFFERENTLY

3. **How AI Fits In**

4. **The Measurement**
   - How I'll know this is working
   - What to track (that's not vanity metrics)
   - When to check in and adjust

## FINALLY:

Summarize the gap you identified and the strategy you built for me in 3-4 sentences.

Make it clear, actionable, and honest.
